Accelerate Seattle

The Brief

Brandon and Maria, founders of Accelerate Seattle, reached out to us after realizing that their Wix site wouldn’t cut it for their growing fitness business. Because the team-based athletic training studio was growing so rapidly, Accelerate wanted to make sure that their branding was clearly communicated through the new website. While they liked editing the site through Wix, they wanted increased capabilities for members to be able to easily book sessions through MindBody. That booking process was not ideal or easy to use with Wix. Brandon and Maria also wanted to reach new clients throughout the Seattle area by utilizing a new SEO strategy. Overall, when it came down to content management platform decisions and they chose WordPress—which was music to our ears.

Our Approach

We migrated the website over to WordPress (‘as is‘) to match their current design with a new custom theme. After the website was moved to the new platform, we dug into SEO strategy, the redesign of the homepage, and a new landing page design. The new landing page was specifically designed for a social media ad campaign that encouraged users to sign up for classes with special pricing. Our experience working with Accelerate on the redesign was seamless because they already had all the photo and video content ready to go from the start. Most importantly, we made sure it was easy for Accelerate staff to manage the MindBody integration as it is vital to their operation. New members needed to be able to easily navigate the calendar and book classes. Fortunately, during this process, we were able to work with a few new integrations including Twilio, LeadsBridge, and WaiverKing.

The Result

We excitedly launched Accelerate Seattle’s new site in December 2018. The new site is clean, modern, and now features a navigation menu (as the old Wix site didn’t have navigation). In addition to that, the site beautifully showcases the team, the members, and the values behind Accelerate Seattle in a way that really gave it that personal touch that wasn’t there before. Working with Maria, Brandon, and Alex has been a tremendous pleasure. They were extremely responsive, great with feedback, and they inspired us to get our butts to the gym! The best part is that they can easily edit everything without worry. We plan to continue SEO work with as well as adding some new features to the site that will help improve their relationship with their members.
