Dudjom International Foundation

The Brief

Dudjom International Foundation is a charitable organization dedicated to supporting the teachings and leadership of HH Dudjom Yangsi Rinpoche, Sangye Pema Zhepa. The Foundation has operated a website for some years, but lost it due to hackers. With the need to support followers and the desire to grow, The Foundation needs to design a new website to align with the goals of The Foundation and the target audience.

They needed a website that functions as the official website of His Holiness Dudjom Rinpoche III Sangye Pema Shepaa, a marketing and communications tool to support new followers, position itself as a thought leader and provide credibility to potential joint venture partners.

Our Approach

From our initial meeting with Christina, we knew this would be a fun and interesting project. Her enthusiasm and passion were contagious and we were able to work efficiently in spite of her busy schedule and travels.

We began by creating a sitemap that encompassed all the information the Foundation needs to communicate and proceeded to create a functional prototype of the WordPress website. Christina shared a collection of beautiful imagery and photos that then served as inspiration for creating the color palette, graphic elements and overall design of the site. It was important to respect the Foundation and its practices’ symbolism, content, and meaning throughout the project and make sure that both Christina and Dudjom Rinpoche III felt we were reflecting the Foundation’s work and philosophy.

The Result

After a year of working with Christina while she traveled all over the World with Dudjom Rinpoche III, we launched a website that truly reflects his essence and message. The new website is full of colorful imagery and allows visitors to easily connect with the Dudjom’s work, practices, activities and teachings. It also allows donors to contribute with his cause through an easy and simple process, which was very important to the Foundation.

As finishing touches prior to launch, adjustments were made using a combination of tools to enhance site performance and security:

With a beautiful new design and updated content, we are delighted to continue working with Christina and The Dudjom International Foundation as they continue on their WordPress Care Plan. This foundation is doing amazing things!
