Your online presence is not complete without social media integration. What do we mean by this? At a minimum you need a Facebook page and Google Plus page. These will help drive traffic to your site and make it legitimate in the eyes of some search engines.
Next up would be some combination of the following services, depending on what you do or sell: Twitter, Yelp, LinkedIn, Tumblr, Pinterest, Instagram, YouTube. There are a whole lot more, but these are at the top of the list.
Now, what to do with all this social stuff? If you want to be found in search engines you need content. You need to blog, preferably once a week or more. When you blog, you should then promote that content on all your social media accounts.
Don’t fret, this sounds like a lot of work but we have ways of integrating these accounts. So you add your blog post and your done. It will automatically be sent out to the sites we’ve connected up to.
This also gives you a place to interact with your fans and customers, to get real time feedback if you need it.
From a brand perspective your social media profile picture and cover images should match your web site and offline collateral.
