Compassionate Leadership Statement

“Compassion begins with us, not I.”

We recognize compassion to be an essential aspect of a productive and inclusive work environment. Acts of kindness in the workplace impact not only the giver and the receiver, but it also has a positive impact on the culture as a whole.

We are committed to showing compassion in the workplace by:

  • Noticing when team members are in pain or are experiencing personal stressors, and acting on solutions to further support their feelings of security and comfort at work.
  • Actively listening to others without judgement.
  • Accepting criticisms and carefully stating our opinions to someone for underperformance or failure, making sure we don’t hurt each other’s feelings and promote an environment of mutual respect.

Animal Welfare Statement

Our compassion for others extends not only to humans, but also to animals.

As animal lovers, we support the notion that no animal should endure the pain and suffering of a life of abandonment and/or neglect. We work to support and preserve the precious life on this planet and strive to support, advocate for, and create humane living environments for all animals.
