The Brief
Aligned HR came to us with a vision—but no brand or website. Together, we turned that vision into a full identity and digital home built from the ground up.
The goal was to create a professional, cohesive brand identity that reflects Aligned HRC’s employee-centered philosophy while appealing to an executive audience. This project included new branding, logo design, website development, and copywriting.
Our Approach
We began with immediate technical needs, creating a temporary landing page, domain redirects, and email setup to maintain online presence during the transition. From there, we focused on crafting a new visual identity that felt modern, energetic, and aligned with founder Jessica’s practical HR approach.
Logo & Brand Identity
We collaborated closely with Jessica to develop a visual identity that reflects both credibility and energy—capturing Jessica Holst’s sharp, pragmatic approach to HR. The goal was to appeal to a discerning, often skeptical audience of startup leaders and seasoned executives who want real business impact, not HR fluff.
- We created a logo system that is modern yet approachable, with clean lines and bold, energetic color choices—including deep reds and vibrant greens—that communicate confidence and clarity.
- The typography and brand voice were selected to reinforce Aligned HRC’s balance of warmth and professionalism, with a no-nonsense, business-forward tone.
- Visual elements like abstract patterns and textures (rather than photos of people) helped convey sophistication while avoiding typical HR clichés.
Website Design & Development
With a strong brand identity in place, we moved into the custom website project—building a strategic site that clearly communicates Aligned HRC’s approach while delivering a streamlined, modern user experience.
- We kicked things off with a discovery session to understand business goals, user needs, and content priorities, followed by sitemap planning and content outlining to ensure clarity and consistency across the site.
- Our team created wireframes to visualize page structure and guide both content and design decisions. From there, we moved into the design phase, referencing the new brand guidelines and applying accessibility best practices to ensure the site met WCAG standards.
- Development was completed using Beaver Builder, allowing for easy client updates and long-term scalability. Pages were built with responsive layouts for mobile optimization and ADA compliance, including homepage, about, services, case studies, and contact.
- We wrote and refined strategic, user-focused copy throughout the process to align with Aligned HRC’s tone (direct, intelligent, and business-oriented) making sure it spoke clearly to founders and executives navigating complex HR needs.
- After thorough testing for functionality, usability, accessibility, and cross-browser performance, the site was launched, and a final training was provided so Jessica could confidently manage the site post-launch.
The Result
The final result is a clean, modern brand identity and professional website that reflects the heart of Aligned HRC’s mission. Jessica’s philosophy is now front and center, supported by strategic messaging and thoughtful design choices that balance warmth with corporate appeal.
