Are there licenses or other fees we should know about?
With a website project, we include the costs of any premium licenses for applications that provide a wide range of services from spam protection to SEO optimization. Here is a list of plugins that we support.
If we need to use any additional special plugins that cost extra we will talk to you about it first.
What about SEO?
Every website we build includes foundational SEO: clean site structure, proper heading hierarchy, image optimization, and technical performance. We use tools like Rank Math, Perfmatters, SEMrush, GTmetrix, and SparkToro to assess and address. We set up GA4 and Google Tag Manager so you can actually see what’s happening on your site.
With a support plan, we can also provide ongoing guidance as you create content and help you understand how to track your rankings over time.
As for “optimizing for AI,” the honest answer is that no one can guarantee how AI search tools surface your content. What actually helps is the same thing that’s always helped: clear, well-structured content that says something worth reading. If your site communicates your value clearly to a human, it’s doing the right work for AI discovery too.
For clients who need ongoing organic SEO beyond what we handle in the build, we sometimes take those projects on directly. When we’re at capacity, we can connect you with trusted partners who specialize in it.
How do you handle security and maintenance?
Every care plan includes weekly core software and plugin updates, daily file and database backups, uptime monitoring, site protection, and preventative maintenance. We also send monthly health and analytics reports so you can see how your site is performing. If something breaks during an update, we catch it and fix it.
Do you offer hosting?
Yes. Most of our care plans include managed WordPress hosting with an SSL certificate, daily backups, and uptime monitoring. We host on Pressable, which is built specifically for WordPress and gives our clients reliable speed, security, and performance. If you’re on a plan without hosting, we can help you evaluate your current setup and make recommendations.
