Quick note on AIaaS: Depending on your font, that may read as "Alas." We did not plan that. We also did not correct it. A typographic accident that feels oddly appropriate.
AIaaS, or AaaS (pronounced /æs/ — rhymes with "class") is what we prefer to call it.
Is this the same as a general site health check?
No. A general assessment looks at overall site health ahead of things like hosting or a Care Plan. A Deep Dive is specifically for sites with a real security question behind them: a known or suspected compromise, a site inherited from somewhere else with an unclear history, or a scan result serious enough to warrant a closer look.
What do you need from me to start?
After the assessment fee is paid and the agreement is signed, we will need full WP admin and a complete site and database backup.
What if my site is down right now?
Then start with Website Repair + Recovery instead. A Deep Dive is a diagnostic report; if your site is actively down or actively losing data, you need stabilization first. We’ll tell you if a Deep Dive is still the right next step once things are stable. If this is urgent, you may also want to let us know via one of several ways to contact us.
Does this replace the need for a Care Plan?
No. A Care Plan is ongoing: updates, backups, monitoring, someone watching the site month to month. A Deep Dive is a one-time forensic look. Most clients who go through one end up on a Care Plan afterward, but they’re separate things with separate scopes.
What if you don’t find anything wrong?
Then you have that in writing, which is worth something on its own. A clean report means you can stop wondering and move on, or use it as a baseline to compare against later if something changes.
