Quick note on AIaaS: Depending on your font, that may read as "Alas." We did not plan that. We also did not correct it. A typographic accident that feels oddly appropriate.
AIaaS, or AaaS (pronounced /æs/ — rhymes with "class") is what we prefer to call it.
Do I need a care plan after the repair?
If we’ve moved your site to our hosting, a hosted care plan is required. If you’re sticking with your current host, you don’t have to, but most repair clients choose one. The situation that brought you here is usually preventable with regular updates, monitoring, and backups. A care plan is how you make sure it doesn’t happen again.
I’m terrified of having to start over. Is a rebuild really necessary?
We hear this a lot. A rebuild does not mean you lose everything. You’re not starting from zero, you’re moving what you already have into a structure that works.
The part people dread most is the process, from having the time, making the decisions, the added cost, and running the risk of ending up in the same situation again. That’s a reasonable fear if your last experience was bad. A rebuild with a team that communicates clearly, sticks to a timeline, and sets you up with ongoing support afterward is a completely different experience from what got you here. Most of our rebuild clients say their only regret is not doing it sooner, followed by an exhale of relief.
What if the repair costs more than a new site?
We’ll tell you, and we’ll walk you through why. A rebuild sounds scary, but it’s not always the bigger investment. Patching a site with deep structural problems means paying to fix the same kinds of issues over and over. A clean build on a solid foundation often costs less in the long run and gives you something you can rely on. If a rebuild is the better path, we’ll show you the comparison so you can make the decision with real numbers, not fear.
Can you fix a site you didn’t build?
Yes. We work on sites built by other developers and agencies regularly. The assessment tells us what we’re working with and whether the codebase is in a state we can reasonably support. We’re a WordPress agency, so that’s where our expertise runs deepest. We’ve helped clients on other platforms, but we evaluate those on a case-by-case basis and will let you know upfront if it’s outside our wheelhouse.
My developer disappeared. Can you help me get access back?
Yes. We’ve helped clients recover access to websites, domain registrars, hosting accounts, analytics, and ad accounts. It takes some coordination with providers, but it’s something we’ve done many times. Once control is regained, we recommend a Deep Dive Assessment. Worst case, if a domain is registered in someone else’s name and they’re unresponsive or uncooperative, you may not be able to recover it. In that scenario, you’d need to register a new domain and rebuild. We can help with that, but it means starting your domain authority and SEO history from scratch. This is rare, but it’s why we always recommend clients own their domain, hosting, and accounts in their own name.
How do I know if my site needs repair or a full rebuild?
That’s what the Deep Dive Assessment is for. We’ll tell you what’s wrong, what it would cost to fix, and whether that investment makes sense given the state of the site. If a rebuild is the better path, we’ll be upfront about it.
How quickly can you help?
Most assessments happen within a few business days. If your site is down or compromised, let us know when you reach out and we’ll prioritize accordingly. After-hours and weekend requests may be subject to rush pricing.
