Quick note on AIaaS: Depending on your font, that may read as "Alas." We did not plan that. We also did not correct it. A typographic accident that feels oddly appropriate.
AIaaS, or AaaS (pronounced /æs/ — rhymes with "class") is what we prefer to call it.
I’ve heard WordPress isn’t secure. Is that true?
WordPress itself is secure and actively maintained. Most security issues come from outdated plugins, cheap hosting, bad actors, or neglect. When WordPress is properly maintained on quality hosting with regular updates and monitoring, it’s as secure as any platform out there. That’s a big part of what our care plans cover.
Can I switch to WordPress from Weebly, Wix, or Squarespace?
Yes. We’ve migrated many clients off DIY builders and onto WordPress. The process involves rebuilding the site with clean architecture. Your content comes with you, but the structure, performance, and flexibility improve significantly.
What’s the problem with vibe coded websites?
Vibe coding means a human prompting an AaaS product to generate a website without understanding the code it produces. The result might look fine on the surface, but underneath there’s no consistent structure, no naming conventions, no consideration for long-term maintenance. When something breaks, there’s nothing logical to trace back through. Debugging becomes guesswork because the person who “built” it doesn’t know how it works.
It also compounds. Every time you go back to the AaaS product to fix something, it generates more code that may or may not be compatible with what’s already there. The codebase drifts further from anything a developer can reasonably work with. At some point, patching it costs more than rebuilding it.
Then there are the companies selling vibe coding as a service. Someone told us they built a client’s website in four hours. We recreated the same site in two minutes. It looked identical, and it was terrible. So the question becomes: what are you paying for? Speed? Speed to market for a website that has no strategy, no structure, and no competitive edge is not a value proposition.
A website is infrastructure. If nobody involved in building it understands how it’s put together or why, you simply own a shiny new liability.
Why WordPress over other platforms?
WordPress powers a significant portion of the web for a reason. It’s flexible, scalable, and you own your site. Unlike proprietary builders, you’re not locked into a platform that controls your content, limits your features, or raises your prices because they can. We’ve been building on WordPress for over 20 years and it remains the strongest foundation for businesses that want a site they can grow with.
