Smack Happy Design is remote-first, but the work still happens through real people in real places. We got our start in San Francisco and we've got team members spread out from there. Wherever you're based, you work with the same women-led team building custom WordPress sites and Care Plans that actually get maintained.

Don't take our word for it. Take theirs:
Nicole is hands down one of the very best people I work with and I work w many.
Nicole, the founder of Smack Happy Design simply put in one word is brilliant! She is so knowledgeable about her work and her ability to understand my needs even though I am not the best at communicating and explaining the issues is great!
As a parent board volunteer, my reputation was on the line as my son’s nursery school entrusted me with the decision to hire the right designer to do a complete makeover to the website on a limited budget.
