The Brief
Carlson Beck is an executive search firm for nonprofit organizations and philanthropic entities, including family, community, and operating foundations. They needed a website to function as a powerful marketing and communications tool to attract new clients, position themselves as a thought leader in the industry, and provide credibility to potential joint venture partners.
While Carlson Beck was happy to provide the content for the website, they needed a partner to help define their brand and translate their company culture into a beautiful, functional website.
Our Approach
We worked closely with the Carlson Beck team to discover what made them unique and develop a website design that exemplified these qualities. We used a mood board to dial in the details for the color palette, fonts, and image style.
During the project’s discovery phase, we also worked closely with Carlson Beck to examine their current website content, identify gaps in the content, and determine the best way to organize and present the content on the new website. The goal was to create a website that was both people-friendly and search-engine-friendly.
The design of the final website is clean and modern with a lively energy that comes from the vibrant color palette. The imagery used on the site conveys a feeling of sophistication and professionalism while adding to the modern design.
The Result
Carlson Beck now has a dynamic website that showcases who they are. The message of what they do and how they do it is clearly articulated throughout the website. Their portfolio of successful placements is easy to find and effectively supports their exemplary reputation in the industry of executive search.
