
History says that the art of storytelling is binding, defining, relays important messaging, and invokes positive interactions and experiences among us humans. First an ancient practice, and now utilized as a marketing technique—storytelling has become a very buzzy, popular part of many marketing strategies. Creating a memorable experience with a customer, for example, can be greatly powerful by creating that lasting impression.
With that said, could a storyteller’s story be ineffective? The answer is most definitely, “yes”. While there are a great many benefits, there’s a different side to this that isn’t as green if the person telling the story doesn’t have a clue what they’re doing.
