A Day in the Life of a Web Designer
We love what we do and do what we love!
Have you read the news today? Oh boy…web designers have a lot on their plate, daily. In order for deadlines to be met, web designers need to create a schedule and stick with it. We create schedules for ourselves and for our clients. We meet and exceed goals.
(Also, we sometimes cannot pass up a reference to the Beatles.)
The point is that our clients know what we’re doing, every step of the way. But, perhaps above all else, you want to know just what does a web designer do. A web designer does a lot of things, but the extra bit of passion that we sprinkle on daily does differ from what others do.
What does a web designer do?
A web designer designs websites (obvi), and beyond that, we design websites that generate leads but also look as thoughtful, as alluring, and as fun as can be imagined. We’re web designers that make clients happy.
What we do versus what others do…
‘Happy’ is in our name and it’s also what we do, because we care. We’re really good at design, and we aren’t afraid to say it! The custom online solutions that we design are ones that our clients dream of, mostly because of how we collaborate transparently and passionately every step of the way.
And how do we do all of that? We have fun, which gives us spirit. We also often recognize how well we work together as a team and continually lift each other up, help each other out, and make one another better. Anna Byun, Print & Web Designer & Developer
Anna exceeds at producing custom, high-end web design for our clients. She also aids with mobile design, tablet design, email design, digital display ad design, and more. An exceptional problem-solver, Anna tackles SEO, technical needs, online and offline design.

Anna says that her daily goal is “to create designs that are functional, user-friendly, and that generate results – all wrapped up in a pretty package.”
Corina Pfeffer, Web Designer & Developer
Corina has a BS in Industrial Mathematics and a wealth of knowledge in designing WordPress websites. She also aids with mobile design, tablet design, logo design, front end coding, and more. Corina utilizes her cogent, mighty skills to tackle web design needs, all while being a full-time mom.
Going the Extra Mile in Web Design
Corina says that her daily goal is “to make beautiful, functional, responsive websites and to go the extra mile ensuring that clients get the best solutions for their business to succeed.”
Nicole Hanusek, Smack Happy Design Owner, Designer & Coder

Nicole has been designing and coding websites for over 20 years. She founded SmackHappy in 2008, after thoroughly learning the ins and outs of web design alongside the internet’s rapid evolution. Nicole offers her expertise in most areas of web design, including UI and UX design, wireframes, email design, mobile design, tablet design, and more.
