Brief

Following its acquisition of Nels Johnson Tree Experts, SavATree needed to migrate the existing website into WordPress on WP Engine. The goal was to preserve content and functionality while improving performance, usability, and long-term stability.

Method

Over a 3–5 week timeline, we migrated ~20 pages into WordPress using Beaver Builder. The project included building a sitemap based on current content and services, setting up one custom form, and implementing posts, tags, and categories with archive functionality. We integrated Google Analytics, configured metadata via Rank Math, and ensured responsive design across devices. Pre- and post-migration testing was conducted to validate performance and functionality.

Result

The Nels Johnson Tree Experts website relaunched with:

  • ~20 pages migrated on a secure WordPress foundation
  • Integrated analytics and SEO metadata for visibility
  • Mobile-friendly design tested across all major browsers and devices
  • Optimized content organization with archives and categories

The migration provided SavATree with another stable, easy-to-manage site that supports its acquisition strategy and enhances the client experience.
