Brief

Berkeley-based fire experts, Reax Engineering, has seen a tremendous increase in their business since redesigning their site with Smack Happy several years ago. Now in a new phase of their growth, they requested a refresh on the site design in order to simplify the site and quickly direct visitors to contact information.

Method

The priority for Reax was to quickly get website visitors the contact information for the Fire Expert that best suited their needs. For this we suggested a custom post type in order to build out customizable profile pages for each employee.

The other important piece of information was the examples of projects they’ve worked on. These were also given a custom layout and post type in order to highlight the critical information for each project.

Result

The crew at Reax Engineering are definitely one of our (many) favorites to work with. Throughout the whole project, they remained easy going, very communicative, and attentive regarding design feedback and revisions. The new site is optimized, easy to use, and (most importantly) is a much more refined experience for their audience than the previous website. Reax has signed up for an ongoing care plan and will be continuing their SEO work with the Smack Happy team. A big thank you to David & Delaney for their help to get this site up and going.
