The Brief
Solutus Legal Search is a concierge legal search boutique that specializes in the placement of lawyers in companies and law firms. For over two decades, they have perfected the science and art of legal search tailoring their search strategy for each client’s unique hiring needs – and executing with precision. The results are the finest candidates, the best hires, and client service that is unparalleled in their industry.
Julie Q. Brush, founding partner at Solutus, came to Smack Happy to help her create a custom website design that would ultimately increase new clients, attract new site visitors and subscribers for job alerts. The objective was to design the site with a conservative feeling while still being edgy, appealing to lawyers and companies alike.
Our Approach
We collaborated with Julie every step of the way for this project. We started by diving into the sitemap and prototype so we could make sure the site indeed catered to the needs of companies and potential job candidates alike. A lot of research went into the best job posting software we could include to give candidates the best experience.
The sitemap and prototype allowed us to organize the content structure for the site so Julie and her team could work on it. In the meantime, we dove into the design process arriving at a design that checked all the boxes:
- Professional and sleek
- Appeals to companies and candidates alike
- Conveys a premium feeling
Once we arrived at a winning design, our team transformed it into a new WordPress website representative of Solutus’ leader position in the market.
The Result
Solutus’ new site not only looks fantastic and is intuitive to us, the results 90 days after launch speak for themselves:
- 137 new resumes submitted through the website
- Organic Traffic is up 421% over the last 90 days
- All inbound traffic up 526% over the last 90 days
- 37 people have signed up for job alerts
- 41 have people have Registered with Solutus
